Are any internal exams conducted by TIM to prepare the students for IATA examination?
Yes. Apart from our regular Internal Assessment tests, we prepare the IATA students by giving them previous years & IATA practice papers to solve.

What happens if a student fails in the IATA exam?
The IATA fees includes two exam attempts. IATA has introduced a third attempt for students who do not clear the exam in the first two attempts at a fee payable to IATA. This third attempt has to be taken within the enrollment period.

The IATA / FIATA International Cargo Agents diploma has gained worldwide industry recognition as a quality qualification, important for anyone who wishes to make a career in the air cargo forwarding business.The IATA / FIATA program is basically self study course, but is also offered as regular course by training establishments known as "Authorised Training Centers" or ATC's, who are qualified to prepare the students for the IATA / FIATA examinations.

When does the IATA examination take place?
IATA exams are conducted four times in a year, in the months of March, June, September & December.

Is it possible to change one’s registration from a campus in one city to another city?
Transfers are available from one centre to other in case the student is compelled to relocate. Transfers are permitted only after the full payment of fees & completion of atleast 2 modules of course syllabus. The admittance / admission at the new location would be from the beginning of the next module. In case of transfers, the receiving center would try to accommodate the student in the desired time slot but the same would be subject to availability & cannot be guaranteed. In case of transfer, a student should pay a fee of Rs. 1,500/- to the head office- Mumbai, along with the transfer request form & No Objection Certificate of the existing center. No transfer will be allowed without intimation to head office.

Examination rules
Students who enroll for TIM’s diploma courses have to pass the written examination. However, the assessment of the students will be conducted on a continuous basis, giving due weightage to class participation, reports & projects.

When a student is unable to appear in a scheduled internal evaluation test or complete project reports due to illness or emergency, a written application should be given to the Branch Manager within 7 days of the examination. For a re-test, the Branch Manager on verification of the application will decide whether it should be ranted or not.
